Sales app shown without user rights

We have created custom app and the idea is to use only that one application. We have set the user roles so that the CRM users can only open custom App and this is the only one visible in Own apps.


However, when the users logs in the system or navigates to CRM from the squares in the upper left corner, a default Sales app is opened.
