Currently, the barcode scanner control is supported for devices (Android and iOS) only. We can see that it is possible to set this control for web browser as well but its not supporting at all on web browsers.

The icon is available on enabling the control for text field (web browser) but on click of it its getting failed and it might be because of unsupported JS.
