In large companies, the warehouse directory can contain more than 1000 entries.
The entire list of warehouses is always available for selection during operations in the system.
The user of the system cannot know by heart which of the warehouses should no longer be used.
I suggest adding the "On hold" property on the warehouse form. If this flag is enabled, the system should not allow you to select the specified warehouse.
The flag cannot be enabled if there are stocks in the warehouse > 0.
Most large ERP systems have this simple functionality.
P. S. In our company, the warehouse directory contains 1800+ for one legal entity.

Agreed, this is absolutely required! This allows for a great deal of manual error, not to mention is not a nice feel for the users when sifting through hundreds of numbered warehouses.
