Background

In F&O, when a process is started interactively by a user and it takes more more than 10 minutes a dialog is displayed reading "The operation is taking a long time to process, click Wait to keep waiting for it to complete." on which you only can choose . After ten more minutes the dialog is displayed again. 

Current situation

Consumer price index process-form fails to comply with fundamental F&O-standard:

- cannot be executed in batch

- cannot be performed for a subset of the lines that carries the cpi schedule

If a CPI schedule has a significant number of lines, this forces the user has to press every ten minutes for a long duration.

Suggested solution

Adhere to F&O-standard, so that CPI process can be performed in batch respectively be performed for subset of lines that carries the cpi

(Disclaimer: I am as bewildered as anyone, that above needs to be submitted as an idea. This is however the only potential way forward that Microsoft Support respectively Microsoft's product manager came up with)
