The current overtime calculation is not equivalent to standard Payroll guidelines. Overtime is assigned when travelling or in progress time occurs outside the assigned work hours. Overtime should occur when an employee works more than 40 hours in a given week, regardless if that is inside or outside the standard work hours assigned for any given day. In addition, the current overtime calculation causes us to lose sight of total travelling time, because some of it is buried in overtime. Without this information, you cannot understand what's causing the overtime. Is it excessing travel or is it excessing in progress? I'd like to request the following:

Allow customers to disable the overtime calculation in the Field Service settings. Then overtime would be calculated in payroll systems that track all time "on the clock" and will assign overtime when all working hours exceed 40 hours for the week.

Allow customers to identify overtime when work time reaches 40 hours in a given week. At that point, add the overtime indicator to the booking and keep the separation between overtime travel and overtime in progress so the overtime can still be broken down into its components.
