When a record is shared to a team, a notification gets sent out to all team members notification that a record was shared with each user. This causes confusion (and noise) when shared with large teams as users think they need to act on the notification.

It would be very useful that instead of stating "User 1 shared record x with you", it would state "User 1 shared record x with team y". This would minimize confusion.

It would also be very useful to have more granular control on the sharing, like turning it off for specific users or teams.

On a side note, the notifications also do not seem to take into account if users are active or inactive within the environments where the records are shared.
