When finishing a counting work, if the quantity is the same as the system figure, it will be automatically accepted.
There're some scenarios, the counting work should be automatically rejected too.
For example, in the system, we have 5 items on a license plate and result from counting work is different (4 or 6)
This work will be under "Pending review" before it can be closed.

But before we close this work (accept or reject), we do another counting work on the same license plate but in a different location. This license plate along with items will be brought to this new location.

Basically, only this last count is important and the previous count is no longer valid.

In this case, the first counting work cannot be accepted anymore, because the license plate is no longer in the old location. With the discrepancy in the quantity and the location, the adjustment journal cannot be posted. When reviewing this work, the users have to reject it manually.

Although it doesn't alter the result, I think the more common scenario would be where the license plate is not actually in the first location where it was expected and therefore counted as zero quantity. In either case, I agree that when it is found in a subsequent location, the first count variance for the license plate should be automatically rejected.
