Clients need the ability to show/hide fields on a page without an addon on development effort. In nearly every implementation, clients ask for this and we have no easy way of handling the task. For example, the users need to read the chart of accounts (to insert a G/L on a document) but shouldnt be able to read the accounts Balance field.

In the past, the only work arounds were Easy Security (addon) or using the "AccessbyPermissions" property on a field as a workaround (development effort).

This would largely reduce friction and give clients a better sense of ownership over their system.
