Work Order-Payments-Invoicing Relationships

Create entity OOTB Entity relationships between Work Orders, Payments, and Invoicing. Currently there is no way to associate a Payment with an Invoice.

Associating payments with an invoice is a very basic requirement and not yet available OOTB with respect to recording payments against invoices produced at time Work Order status is set to Closed-Posted.

Thanks for raising this, Brent. We agree there's a lot more we can do around the payment concept. At this time, we'd like to see whether the community responds to this idea. In the meantime, we encourage you to enable this idea with custom metadata and, if appopriate, custom logic to enable you and your customers to capture payment data in your systems.
