When we shift inventory from one location(Site) to other location(site), we create Transfer order in system that is shipped by the shipper of inventory and received by the receiver of inventory after physical receipt of inventory. In this way, the whole process is controlled end to end.

Fixed assets are also moved from one site to other sites frequently. If process like that of transfer order for inventory is designed for the movement of fixed assets from one site to other site, this will result in movement of fixed assets in more controlled manner.

Current system allows to transfer fixed assets in system but control on the transfer of ownership for the asset is not ensured.
