Batch balancing that was introduced in AX2012 R2 is not enabled for WHS items. This is currently in backlog, but adding visibility in case more customers require this functionality.

This feature has been shipped with the Dynamics D365 For finance and operations Spring release 2018. The feature has also been back ported to AX2012 with KB 4230339
