Scenario:

1. Customer order with item as pick


2. Upon recall customer order for delivery, customer wish to add/change items or add more coupon codes etc. at POS terminal


3. To add/change items and delivery of the existing orders, currently we need to recall edit add/change items save it and again recall same order to pick and complete the delivery.

Impact:

1. Multiple time recall order is done to save and to pick to complete the delivery


2. POS cashier has to undergo multiple clicks and process to complete the order with edit and pick process


3. For the voluminous customer where the origin of the order could be from ecommerce and additional items/changes can be at POS terminal.


4. Multiple screens and process for edit and pick may delay the order completion at POS terminal.

Possible option:

1. Upon customer order edit save, order lines added or changed to be moved to the pick screen with the additional lines and changes (edit order data has to be stored in temporary table instead of RTS function of save the edit order)


2. Payment tender balance to be calculated according to the changes on edit order


3. Option has to be given upon the edit, as this has to be taken direct for pick delivery screen or it’s only the edit and save with pick delivery at later date.
