For CI/CD, testing, prerelease evaluation and a lot of other scenarios, it would be great to have an API to pull runtime packages from AppSource that match the version (artifact) of a Docker container.

How would this work for Insider versions such as Next Minor or Next Major? Will the downloaded current runtime version of the 3rd party runtime app allow you to build your apps on insider builds, not just current?

This is a MUST HAVE as many ISV have started to not hand out their apps even though we have a partnership with them - and the customers cannot understand why we cannot just extend the functionality of an app source app that we dont have access to (local docker development, build pipelines etc.)

I hope it will be approved.

i Agree Please also include a current/latest mechanism, which automatically returns the correct version. A nice2have could be to also include Next Minor and Next Major.

I also vote in favor of this feature.

Really useful feature! As an ISV, we are constantly getting questions like "Is your App working with these App?"...

Briljant idea! This would save so much manual correspondence to manual request the runtime-packages from a ISV (and vice verse for the ISV to create and provide them). Not even starting on receiving updated versions.

Please also include a current/latest mechanism, which automatically returns the correct version. A nice2have could be to also include Next Minor and Next Major.

Very useful in general, please evaluate this.

Additional comment: This is relevant both for ISVs as well as for VARs
