With the new Item sampling feature in WMS, when an item is receipted (RAFed or Purchase receipt) system automatically generates the item sampling quantity based on the 'Item sampling' parameters on the 'Quality associations' form.
However there is no way to amend the actual sample quantity taken. This is quite critical when it comes to some pharmaceutical products where the exact actual quantities should be recorded for tracking.
For example, if the proposed item sampling quantity is 10g, user might take 10.1g and there is no place on the mobile device to override the proposed sample quantity and enter the actual quantity.
