Adding new fields requires you to do a lot of coding in AL, adding to the table then pages then code the codeunit.
Why not make the ability to add new Filed on a page and the systems just create that in the related table & codeunit for me, no develpment knowledge required anymore.

We need ability to create custom fields, but also custom entities with lookups. Exactly what's available in CRM we need in BC.

This would be huge! Can be part of personalization experience where the end user with appropriate rights can add new fields that would be stored as seperate extension.
