I have a huge challenge in the fact that it is not possible to set English as a language in Dynamics (because I want non-native speakers to be able to work the platform too) and then sort international characters correctly. The response from developers is that you have to set the language to Danish (in this case) for sorting to work. So we should teach international coworkers Danish, in stead of teaching them to recognize 3 characters...? Correct sorting would be like this: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q S T U V W X Y Z Æ Ø Å With English language setting, they are sorted like this: A Å (aa) Æ (ae) B C D E F G H I J K L M N O Ø (oe) P Q S T U V W X Y Z The reason is that they are sorted by the way they are written, not by any stardard alphabetical sorting. I would love for Dynamics 365 to handle this as most other Microsoft products do (where UI language selection is not blocking sorting)

After reviewing with the platform team, we learnt that the sorting order is based on the base language that was chosen during the time of provisioning. The base language is stored in the platform (SQL Collation) which defines the sorting behavior and isn't defined by the current user's language in Dynamics. For additional platform ideas and community, please visit  https://ideas.powerapps.com.
