It would be really helpful for users as well as developers to see the compilation date of a particular extension. This would be a great help especially when it involves extensions which are installed in PTE or Dev scopes.

Ofcourse the version number plays the major role to understand the fixes involved in a release. But sometime the version handling goes wrong and some last minute changes are not included during the compilation.

A timestamp from the compilation would give us extra information during the version handling process.
