My customer is using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online with Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook.
When you create an Appointment in Dynamics CRM Online, it will be synchronized to Outlook client.
Also when you create an Appointment in Outlook client, it will be synchronized to Dynamics CRM Online.
Based on the above behavior, when you change the Subject of Appointment from either interface, it will be Synchronized to both GUI.
However if you only modify Custom Field, it becomes following behavior.
- When you modify Custom Field in Dynamics CRM Online, it will be synchronized to Outlook client.
- When you modify Custom Field in Outlook client, the changes will not be reflected, and it won't be synchronized to Dynamics CRM Online.
Microsoft should provide workarounds.
This functionality needs to be stable for better product performance.
