As per MS process, we can postpone monthly OS/DB level security updates up to one week by raising service request. Currently customers doesn't have any control to postpone and they need to wait for MS updates after raising the request. It will take more than a week to accept the request.

The problem here, few organizations has to follow stringent IT rules to implement these changes though there won't be any application impact.

By considering this challenge, it would be great if MS give a chance to customers to postpone these updates as per their process guide lines. It will reduce the dependency and improve the productivity both the sides.

If still customers wanted to postpone, they would raise a service request.
