WE normally have a sandbox and a production instance for clients .
Now customers or their key users are creating some customization on their own in sandbox but they cannot move it to production as currently you can only save source code not APP.

Ideally an API is allowed for this to be automated or allow the move and merge of extensions from sandbox to production .
