We have seen this often when some users go in and edit the Delivery remainder from the Update line option/dropdown. This actually would allow the user to update the open quantity to a different value than the line was for. When updating the deliver remainder quantity, the quantity on the sales line stays the same, which could make the user confused when later they found out the qty on order lines and on remainder line does not match.
