I tried to post a credit memo and D365 said that vendor cr. memo no was already used. That's an awesome catch, thanks, but I went to my list of posted purchase credit memos and in the search box typed my vendor credit memo number and nothing shows up. I tried personalize to get it on the list but it is not available. It would be nice to search for my vendor cr. memo no. on the list of vendor credit memos, or posted purchase credit memos.
The posted purchase invoices have the vendor invoice number on the list and is searchable. It's odd the posted purchase credit memos do not have the vendor credit memo number on the list.

I definitely agree that it would great to be able to add the Vendor Cr. Memo No. to the Credit Memo and Posted Credit Memo List pages.
To address your search issue, you can apply a filter for Vendor Cr. Memo No. instead of using the search field on the list page.
