It would be nice to future be able to select from a listing of templates, instead of having user to manually enter the next version template or system auto-generated next version number.

Not having the option to select from a listing of authorized version templates, the user may not potentially follow legal entity listing of authorized version templates.

Having the option to select from a listing of version templates, the products or BOMs may potentially comply with authorized listing of BOM manufacturing legal entity versions.
