We have company A and Company B (sister company) Company B pushes the consignment stock to Company A Now we have 2 scenarios, 1. If Company B finds the customer for sales then it advise company A to deliver the item, in this case Company A only charges company B for Transport and storage charges 2. If Company A finds the customer for sales, then it transfers(purchase) the stock from Company B(owner) to A and sells to customer. Considering the above scenario, If we use D365 Consignment , We will be able to create only 1 warehouse since it just of owner ship change, in this case even we create 2 warehouse under 1 site the cost is stored in site level, that creates trouble. Requirement: Creating 2 sites and 2 warehouse Site Warehouse 1 Consignment 2 Main Warehouse 1. We will receive entire consignment stock to site 1 and Consignment WH 2. If the company B finds the customer, then we will sell from Site 1, consignment WH, so company A doesn’t take any ownership just charge customer A for handling charge 3. if Company A finds the customer then we needs to transfer the stock to site 2, Main warehouse and change the ownership and sell to customer
