As you can do a wildcard search just typing any value when entering e.g. Customer or Vendor Code it would be good if it could be possible to enter the ISO numeric code for a currency instead of typing letters or using the drop-down list. I guess this is mostly an issue in the general journals when punching a lot of journals but would be useful in any form where the Currency Code field is used. I can see that it is possible to enter any letter and also have the Description field being searched in addition to the Currency Code.

At first, this might not make sense but it's funny how quickly you learn these codes as it makes it more efficient to use the numerical keyboard as much as possible when entering data. Especially in a general journal. The idea comes from how currency codes are entered in general journals in the ERP-system Visma Business.
