This technical note has the objective of establishing a Table of Units of Measures Taxable in Foreign Trade, published in the "Documents" tab, option "Miscellaneous", of Portal of NF-e <www.nfe.fazenda.gov.br>, which lists, for each NCM code, the unit of measurement, which must be used in the issuance of documents to quantify the products to which they relate, in the fields relating to the Taxable (uTrib) and Taxable Quantity (qTrib) of the Electronic Invoice - NF-e. The units of measurement listed in the table "Units of Measurable Measures in the Foreign Trade "are based on the recommendation of the WCO and are identical to those used in the Integrated Foreign Trade System to record the operations of export and import.
The uTrib (Taxable Unit) (06 characters) field of the NF-e must be filled in with a of the options presented in the "uTrib (Abbreviation)" column of the Units of Measurements table Taxable in Foreign Trade, published in the "Documents" tab, option "Miscellaneous", of Portal of NF-e <www.nfe.fazenda.gov.br>.
