When creating a customer sales order from POS it is possible to choose requested ship date.
It would be very nice if ATP could be calculated based on the items in the transaction so the delivery date the store can actually fulfill is what is told the customer.

That problem is exists also in other sales/manufacturing business. Solution need function where materials/goods get reservation when latest available time is reached. In that case all customer demands should be counted. Why ? Business doesn't work as FIFO. If this "latest fulfill" reservation function is missing then stock values rising rapitly when using reservations based on released sales orders.

Thank you for the product suggestion! This idea is aligned with the product vision and we will love to provide this capability out of the box. However, we do not have a planned release timeline as of now and hence marking it as Declined (please read this as Postponed).
