In the Attribute type (attribute type = Text, Fixed list = Yes) setup, there's a possibility to sort attribute values the way users want it to be displayed by using buttons "Move Up", "Move Down".

In the engineering attribute form the list of values is displayed according to the setup in Attribute type.

When creating new engineering product (as well as in other engineering product forms), attribute values sorting done in a setup is not applied. Instead values are sorted in alphabetical order, which is very inconvenient, and forces users to change sorting each time they select a value for an attribute.
