The current architecture involves multiple separate setup pages, such as G/L Setup, Inventory Setup, Sales and Receivables Setup, and Purchases and Payables Setup. This often results in overlooked or unknown setups, leading to a lengthy and cumbersome onboarding process.
I suggest simplifying the process of setting up a company in Business Central by combining all individual setups onto a single page. This page should have different groups for each area, similar to many of the other Microsoft applications. The pages should have actions grouped by area for various ancillary setups, such as Inventory Posting Setup, Posting Groups, Master Data Management Setup, General Posting Setup, etc. This will make the process more organized and streamlined.
Comments
As discussed here, keep the pages separate as today, but to be able to access them from a single page. https://www.yammer.com/dynamicsnavdev/#/Threads/show?threadId=2585555441950720
