The Field Service Mobile (Xamarin) app allows us to filter the records using barcode from the sub grid. We looked into the same functionality on Field Service (Dynamics 365) mobile app, but we only found global search option given in the below document,

Can Microsoft address this and include this functionality as an OOB functionality to filter the Work Order Incident records using barcode from the sub grid within new Field Service (Dynamics 365) mobile app?

Currently, the barcode scanner control is available only for Text/Single Line of Text fields. Our clients would like the ability to scan barcodes for lookup fields, for example, scan the barcode on the Customer Asset in the lookup field on the Work Order.
