WSP 4620 - Dynamics CRM online Out of Box Report Customization Not Allowed
This issue applies to CRM online instance. CRM 2011 and 2013 has many out of box reports like Account Overview, Neglected leads, Sales pipeline, etc. For online instance, if we want to customize these reports  we can download the RDL but these are SQL based SSRS reports. However for online we can use only fetch xml based SSRS reports. So even if we want to add a simple field to the existing out of box report the entire report has to be redone using fetch xml. This has a big impact for customer as substantial amount of work has to be done to re implement many out of box reports even for simple changes.

Customer Scenario: Customer wanted to add some custom fields to the CRM online out of box reports like Account Overview, Neglected leads, Sales pipeline etc. This is not a simple change as one would expect as Out of Box reports are SQL based SSRS reports and all of them has to be redone using fetch xml.
