i am a new user to dynamics BC and disappointed and concerned to see that this week ( may 2026) the trial balance, aged receivables and aged payables reports have become obsolete and replaced by excel versions.
the excel version of the trial balance for example does not show any dates
this is therefore not compliant for our auditors
the reports in a system are supposed to be proof / evidence of our financial transaction/balances as at a point in time. this is now 3 reports that will not provide the evidence. simply replacing a report with a table does not give us what we need as downloading a table that can be edited without any reference to either the date it was created or the dates it relates to is not evidence.
additionally i then need to create a report from the excel myself (which used to exist?)
apart from the fact that this report should exist (and indeed did do) and i now need to create the same using the table which is more work for me, this is not compliant for auditors
very concerning
please can you ensure that the "obsolete" versions are not removed
