I have several customers with the request of being able to assign a documentlayout to a group of customers instead of being forced to assign to one customer at the time, which is heavy...

So my proposal is as an alternative to current functionality to be able to assign documentlayouts to a customer template. Much easier when you want to assign a documentlayout to all customers within e.g. a specific country, specific language, A-B-C customers etc.

With Microsofts focus on using Word templates rather than the old RDLC reports, I definitely think this is a must have feature very soon!!
