Currently in Real-Time Journeys (RTJ), once a Lead Scoring Model is published:

  • You cannot edit it.
  • If you stop it, it becomes Expired and cannot be re-used.
  • There is no option to duplicate or refine an existing model.

This means every time we want to adjust scoring logic—even a small change—we must rebuild the model from scratch.

In 2025, this feels like a huge step backward. Outbound Marketing allowed copying and editing models, which made iteration fast and practical. Removing this ability makes lead scoring:

  • Unscalable – impossible to refine models as campaigns evolve.
  • Inflexible – you can’t quickly test whether your scoring thresholds are too strict/loose.
  • Wasteful – rebuilding from zero each time slows adoption of what should be a powerful feature.
