If the supplier delivers a pallet with mixed items, D365 for Operations assigns one license plate to this pallet. When you do the put away process, the warehouse app proposes the items which you have to scan. This is not handy in case of different items. Actually you would have the option to scan a random item of the pallet.

Hi Mirza, yes this is correct: warehouse worker should be able to scan any item, not be forced to follow any sorting.

Up until today, still a blind spot in WHS for which we see business requirements quite often. Cluster put-away does not provide the capabilities to cover (all of) the scenarios that are meant here.

Somewhat related to this. my customer uses the standard Line registration/arrival overview and during that they enter the LP(please at some point make a feature of creating unknown LP's when entering these on registration in full interface) - frequently mixing multiple items together where appropriate.
While I know of the mixed LP receipt on the handheld, the handheld is not good if there are many PO's with long ID's and the items do not contain the item IDs.
Really what is needed is Movement by template to find an appropriate put location or perhaps just a normal movement actually using a work template so you can at least control to some degree where the WH worker puts the items.

That's correct. We would like to scan first the license plate and then ability to scan any Item ID which is part of the scanned license plate. So with this the warehouse worker has full control about the put away sequence of items on a license plate.

Currently there is no other way than to to use the mixed license plate receiving put away or the purchase order receiving and put away menu item. Both menu items are very strict in the put away process - the warehouse user is just able to perform the action what the system suggest. The only option is to skip the items which can be very time consuming if we speak about more than 20 lines. I hope the product team consider this requirement.
