As per the Customer it would be really helpful to have the ability for all the entitites to be displayed anywhere in CRM, In this case the customer wants 'connections entity' to be displayed in the workplace but is unable to do so because not all the entities in CRM have out of the box capability to be displayed in certain areas.

I do not understand? Connections is Always in regards to two objects and a Connection role. A large list of all Connections in the the system would contain a lot of data connecting anything to anything. I do not understand how that would benifit the customer. As for showing specific entities in specific areas this can be achievieved with editing the sitemap. Are you refering to entities where this is not possible apart from the Connections-entity, if so, please be more specific.
