In normal forms on the GUI you have the option "Get a link" under OPTIONS Tab. Using that with a filter, you can use any desired filtering and get a direct, sharable URL link to the filtered records; this functionality is often referred to as "deep links".

When showing data with the table browser (for example https://myinstancename.dynamics.com/?cmp=USMF&mi=Systablebrowser&tablename=salesline) you can still filter but there is no option to get a (deep) link.

This functionality would be useful in development scenarios when you have a custom table with large amounts of data but no form available, and want to be able to find an often-used subset of records quickly.
