There should be an option to earn the loyalty points in a transaction where points are being redeemed.
An example is that Customer purchases a number of products in a transaction that is worth 1000 USD and pays 100 USD through Loyalty points redeem process. So should be getting the points on the 900 USD which are left and paid by cash as the customer would be reluctant to use loyalty if he/she is losing earning on the 900 USD
