Recently released features 'Warehouse slotting feature' and related features like 'Warehouse Slotting allocation enhancement' and 'Warehouse Slotting for transfer orders' are considered as very powerful to most of the companies I know.

A few common business requirements this feature answers to is to:
1. Replenish inventory to pick locations, before a wave is generated or processed (sales- or transfer picking work creation).
2. Set up your own definition of 'demand' in this context using queries. F.e. Reserved sales orders with delivery date 'tomorrow'.
3. Speed-up picking operations because there is no need for waiting on the execution of a demand replenishment.
4. Prevent a unnecessary high level of inventory on picking locations because of min/max based replenishment templates. Maybe less picking locations are needed.
5. Etc.

The Warehouse slotting features are not supporting the identification of demand triggered by production orders. In business scenario's with high volumes of raw material picking and Just-in-Time delivery of stock to the shop floor this seems a big feature limitation to me.
