Situation description If picking slip, packing slip posting and invoice posting processes are performed through batch job, it is very important to recognize performance issues for batch jobs. Sometimes it happens than batch job is running for 18h and it is hard to identify whether actual workload was very significant or actually there was couple of sales/purchase order records because it is almost impossible to identify how many sales/purchase orders were included into batch job and how many lines actually has been processed. The target is to calculate average time consumed per order line. Solution - Reference field to batch history record should be created in SalesParmTable and PurchParmTable. - When picking list posting, packing slip posting, confirmation posting invoice posting jobs are executed (PO and SO), respective records are created in SalesParmTable and PurchParmTable batch job history record reference ID should be stored as well.
