Idea:
To implement a connected Teams chat feature within Business Central, similar to the one available in the Field Service CRM app, where communication history related to specific transactions (e.g., Purchase Invoices, Sales Invoices, General Journal) can be viewed directly within the application.
Existing functionality:
As of now, the Business Central allows links of documents as Cards to be shared with Microsoft Teams for collaboration, but there is no functionality to track chats or discussions directly within Business Central. This limitation makes it difficult to maintain a seamless view of all communications related to a specific transaction.
Expecting Functionality:
Looking for a feature where:
1. Chat History related to a specific transaction can be visible within Business Central.
2. Users can view and maintain communication records directly connected to specific documents or journals (e.g., Purchase/Sales Invoices and so on).
Could you kindly confirm if there are any updates or plans to introduce this functionality in Business Central? If not, could you provide any recommendations or workarounds to achieve this requirement?
