Improve picking BOM Items in WMS module. In sale orders when we selling for e.g. furniture (cabinet, wardrobe) we have different parts and already half-completed packages (like IKEA). We sale one Item, but different parts are in different places. The WMS logic must split it for real stored Items.
Also it should be able to choose a method of picking and packing for BOM’s. Sometimes we must pick whole parts for all ordered quantity, sometimes we must pick full set on each work separately. For e.g. we order 12 ea. of some wardrobe. One have 2 sides, 1 back, 7 shelfs and doors 1 left and one right. We have 5 different Items. In first scenario we pick 12x2 sides, 12x1 back, 12x7 shelf, 12x1 left and 12x1 right doors. In second scenario we generate 12 work to pick 2sides + 1 back + 7 shelfs + 1 left door +1 right door.
Also BOM’s that have parts, should be seen on sale order form, analogic like in production, that we can see availability for all parts and make reservation on parts.
Packing slip and Invoice should be on default for BOM Item (one line) not for BOM’s parts. But picking list, and others sipping documents can have option to show BOM’s parts.
Now we must change it manually on sale order and we see all part, reserve all parts and see part on documents.
