What happened to Document Date on the General Ledger Entry page???

Current functionality allows the Document Date to be entered on journals, and the field is a real field on the table:
Table 17, G/L Entry
Field ID 55, Document Date

Why would this be restricted from the page? This is not an optional field in the Personalize fields to add either.

Please bring this back. Very easy to code this back.
