Currently every time you click Search, it opens a blank screen - why not show recent Search histories there?
For example, I am looking for something related to Fixed Assets - I clicked the first Fixed Asset that came up but it's wrong; possibly I should have chosen the second or third option but when I click on Search again, I have to re-type my search criteria in. Intuitive Search related suggestions would be great too.

I'm new to Business Central, I was for years involved in other ERP systems.

In a world where we talk of usability and user experience of the product all the time, it is strange to see the "tell me" has no intelligence being built in to show a list of search values that users entered before. A very simple list of "last 5 search values" could already do miracles.

So I fully agree with this request, which seems not risky and brings added value.

Agree with this. Usually quite frustrated that you lose it and had to start typing again. You almost want this to either persist. I'd suspect they have telemetry to show that people are often searching for the same thing over and over again. Prime candidate for a level of intelligence and responsiveness. Think how Google knows what you are going to type next in email.
