When we try to merge same contacts on an identical Marketing list we got the following error:

Unhandled exception:
Exception type: Microsoft.Dynamics.Solution.Common.CrmException
Message: Specified Item not a member of the specified List.

The architecture of the system is not build on a way that same contacts can be merged on an identical Marketing list.

The current workaround is to review the contact who is not going to be the “main” one and remove the Marketing list from there.

Can you please modify the current architecture in order to achieve the desired functionality.
