Standard AX does not take into account during replenishment the limitation that you can’t mix batches an a location, nor the stocking limits of the location.
The system first determines the put location. At that moment, he doesn’t have yet a batch number so there is no problem to put the stock on the first location where he thinks he can put the stock.
After the system determined the put location, he generates the pick work. If the system pick from 2 different locations with 2 different batches which can’t be put on the same final location (because mixed batches are not allowed), the system will propose to put them together on the put location that was already determined. When we treat this work, we can pick the items from both locations but during put, we get a message that mixed batches are not allowed. At this point you are stuck.
So the logic to create replenishment work must be changed, the system must first determine which batches and the total quantity that can be taken for replenishement and afterwards where the items can be put. So when searching te put locations, we know which batches and the quantity that must be put away.
