On the D365 Phone app, the Timeline / Social Pane is a separate tab, making it quick and easy to go to an account's activities. On the CRM App for Outlook, the Timeline is only available within the General tab (or whatever section on the form you have it placed). This is inconsistent behavior between the two systems and makes it difficult for someone using the CRM App for Outlook to find activities. While a user can go to the Related - Common entities section and pull up Activities, they must change some of the parameters / views from Open Activities and All on the Due drop down. Even still you do not get the nice new interface of the Timeline control.
