In the old outlook plugin we had the option to check in:


"Check inkomming emails in outlook to determine whether they should be linked to to or saved to Dynamics CRM....."


Now the "lightest" option we have is: "Emails in response to dynamics 365 email".


A hole conversation the eats up the hole activity feed and then you loose the 365 view of the customer.


It would be grate if we could have the old feature or something similar back.

Thanks for the feedback. It is possible to configure users to not automatically track any emails. This can be enabled using some different settings documented here:

HideEmailAutoTrackOptions

You can use one or both of the options mentioned above. There is also another setting named HideTrackAllOption.

This is a MAJOR barrier and the top complaint from our users. Why wasn't this functionality carried over from the CRM for Outlook add-in???? Why has it been a pending complaint for almost 4 years without a response from Microsoft?
