Please can (many!) more fields be exposed through the BC API (currently v2.0)?
The current Business Central - Power Automate connector, despite being in the Premium tier, has so few fields/tables available as to make any automation attempt laughable, e.g. creating a new vendor will let you post only the basics, such as Name/Address/Payment Terms.
Users then have to manually (!) access each newly created vendor to add necessary information:
- posting groups (can't select vendor template either)
- bank account information (sort code / bank account No / branch / etc...) i.e. the fields you can find on the Vendor Bank Account card
- preferred bank account
Presumably, all vendors expect to be paid, so what's the point of adding a vendor if you can't also update the payment information?
Hopefully there are more of us trying to take advantage of what Power Automate has to offer and this will gain some traction...
Until then, we won't be needing a Power Automate Premium subscription :(
