When items are marked for "Prevent retail discounts" they are never included in discounts, which is great.
But sometimes a discount is allowed on these items where discounts are nomally not allowed, like for at specific coupon or affiliation or so.
It would be great if on the discount header there was a parameter to include items with "Prevent retail discounts" in that specific discount. That would solve these challenges.

This can be configured using different product attributes to achieve whether should be included in discount or not.
